The way we see ourselves can have an effect on us that can impact our mental health and how we interact with others. Working on seeing yourself in a positive light is one of the best things you can do for yourself. Working on that loving and trusting relationship with yourself. We need to work on being kinder to ourselves the way we would to our friends. So I want to share some of the top body positive podcasts that WILL empower you daily.
How to be confident is something a lot of us struggle with. Including me. Finding positive thoughts to think about yourself is a common problem. It is time to nip that shit in the butt once and for all.
Body Positive Movement
Wikipedia is normally not a good source of information, but their definition of the body positive movement is pretty spot on…
This is a social movement focused on the acceptance of all bodies, regardless of size, shape, skin tone, gender, and physical abilities, while challenging present-day beauty standards as an undesirable social construct. Proponents focus on the appreciation of the functionality and health of the human body, instead of its physiological appearance.
Everyone has an amazing body. So it’s time to say bye, Felicia! to the unrealistic beauty standards, haters, and the mothafuckin’ shamers!
Having a positive self-image of yourself is no cakewalk. It takes a whole lotta confidence to stand up against the standards that are set so high for women. Once you start changing the way you speak to yourself and about yourself those haters will never phase you again. But when you find podcasts that are made by real people with real body confidence issues and they are telling their stories loud and proud.
It can really cause a domino effect of us wanting to empower and support them and in return them doing the same. We end up creating this community of love and support. We end up boosting our confidence in ourselves. So with that, check out these podcasts That WILL Empower You Daily!

Top Body Positive Podcasts
I have been really trying to learn to accept my body for what it is. My body has done a lot for me over the years and I don’t appreciate it as much as I should. We KNOW society’s standards for women as highly unachievable. But… for some reason, we still think we have to meet them. Listening to podcasts of other women going through the same thing and speaking on things that are going through our minds is truly an eye-opening experience.
There are things you can do to help you along the process not just listen to podcasts. You can come up with some daily affirmations. Do a life Audit to assess where you are right now. Heal your inner child by working on some journal prompts. Do some self-discovery by getting to know yourself better.
Slowly but surely with time that love and appreciation will come and when it does it will be a glorious day. So all those bitches who talked shit won’t know what hit them when you walk in not giving a shit about their geriatric way of thinking. Unprogressive way of thinking little bitches.
Let me know what other podcasts you REALLY enjoy that I should put on this list of the top body positive podcasts. I love finding new podcasts to listen to.
Until Next Time, Have a Great Day! Remember you are a badass!
I need all of these in my life! I think as women, we are always judging ourselves and not really loving our bodies. I think that goes for every woman no matter what size we are.
Absolutely. There is a standard held to women that are not held to men. It puts more pressure on us to be “perfect”.
I’m always looking for a new podcast to listen to. I especially love the subject for these. We can all use words of encouragement.
I think listening to positive things subconsciously changes the way we think without us really noticing until one day we are like “Damn, I would have reacted to that differently days, weeks or months ago” then it dawns on you that it could be what content on the internet you are consuming.
Thank you for this! I really need some empowerment in my life in terms of accepting my body.
Don’t we all, especially as women. We are our own worse critics.
Yes to F*cks Given! These are all great recommendations. Thank you for sharing.
You are so welcome!!
They all sound like pretty great podcasts to check out, thanks for putting together and sharing this list!

You are so welcome, Fransic!
I think many of us are in the same position. We don’t appreciate what our bodies have gotten us through over the years. I’ll need to check out the podcasts.
I forget to appreciate everything my body has allowed me to do. Sometimes I spend more time criticizing myself than showing my body the love it deserves.
Sounds amazing! There is so much body shaming on the internet, I do think we should be more open and positive about how people’s bodies look. I amazes me people feel it easier to accept the sickness of person (and get wild and very exotic ideas at the times) other than simply accepting the body type.
Absolutely! Who cares about the body??? Care about how the person treats you!!
There are a lot of judgmental people. I think if they’re judgmental by nature, they will be judgey no matter how you look. Best to let that roll right off and keep moving.
Some people just like to bring other people down no matter what.
I’m adding all of these to my list! It’s so important that people feeling comfortable in their own bodies. I’m glad body positivity is becoming as widespread as it is!
It is a wonderful thing to have others talk so openly and honestly about things all of us think. It really does make you feel like you are not alone.
The way we see ourselves has a huge impact on our mental well-being. Self-love doesn’t come easily to all, thanks for sharing these podcasts it will be a great help to many including me.
Self-love does NOT come easily to all. Preach that from the rooftops. I am just learning self-love in my 30s and it is still weird sometimes.
These all sound interesting podcasts to add to my list. I am particularly interested in Yes and Politics. Maybe I can learn a tip or two on how to say “no” without hurting someone else’s feelings. I am bookmarking this post for easy access to these podcasts.
Do I need to write a blog on how to say no? I will because it is something I had to work on for the past few years. It is a hard habit to break but it can be done.
This is a great list! I’m definitely going to be passing some of these onto my daughters- I have four of them! LOL! Body positivity is something I think we could always learn more about or improve. 🙂
Yes!! I have been sharing these with my stepdaughter as well. It is always great to work on your body positivity for yourself and others.

It’s all about changing your mindset. I feel myself getting more confidence in myself. People can criticize all they want. Only we know the truth about our own bodies.
