Raise your hand if you have ever felt insecure about yourself? Obviously… That is a lot of weight being carried on your shoulders. The weight that internal voice of ours puts on us. Yet, your lack of confidence can’t be seen from the outside, but sure does weigh a lot on our shoulders and mind. We need to figure out what is causing us to feel this way about ourselves. One way that has seemed to help keep those thoughts at bay has been coming up with some daily affirmations for self confidence. Those little words or phrases that I can say to myself when I need them.
Definitely changing the way you speak to yourself is a start. I know a lot of us have probably struggled with our self-confidence on and off throughout our life. We have good days followed by some not-so-good days. That internal voice inside your head tells you that you are not good enough, pretty enough, or just not enough in general. We need to snap ourselves out of it. Trying to say these daily affirmations for self confidence to yourself when you feel that sabotaging voices tell you things YOU KNOW are NOT TRUE.
positive affirmations for confidence
A couple of weeks ago I talked about how I wasn’t feeling confident in my body. It took me to a dark place where I just hated everything about myself. I thought every nasty thought I could about myself and tried to justify why I was right in saying those things. But I wasn’t right. I was letting my imposter syndrome take over.
In my experience, I was in the same boat as you doubting and thinking that saying affirmations for self confidence is a waste of time. Taking time to chant a few sentences won’t change how you feel or think. But it’s been scientifically proven that affirmations can rewire our way of thinking. Who is it hurting if you say a couple of sentences to yourself… NO ONE IS GOING TO KNOW. Unless you make it well known. All we are trying to do is build our confidence. No harm, no foul if it doesn’t work.
Journaling Affirmations
If you have been a long-time follower you know that I am an advocate of journaling while on a personal growth journey. Even if you are not on a journey. I think it is still very healthy to have a journal to help you clear your mind of everyday life. Go through this list of affirmations below and write them in a journal. You don’t HAVE to say them out loud, but as long as you are taking the time to actually and actively think about them. They will have an effect on you still.
You get what you give
But… if you go in thinking “this shit won’t work” then guess what it’s not gonna work because of your Negative Nancy attitude KAREN! What I mean is you have to have an open mind and try it for 30 days. Set a reminder on your phone and pick a few phrases to say to yourself in the mirror every morning when you wake up.

Affirmations
I was never an affirmation kinda gal, but something changed in me. They have been growing on me and I didn’t even know until recently. There is this song called “I am Woman” by Emmy Meli. I have mentioned it before in a post sharing my Female Empowerment playlist. However, it didn’t dawn on me it was basically a daily affirmation I had been listening to. So the song is now on repeat or I am singing it repeatedly. I believe that music has a way of affecting your mood. So having a playlist that pumps me up… In my opinion, really helps boost and change my mindset.
So in addition to the affirmations, I chose for myself. I now have a song I can belt while home alone. YOu know give myself an at-home concert.
If you are a daily affirmation user what is your favorite that you say to yourself? Let me know in the comment below. Also, If you want to listen to my Female Empowerment playlist you can click here to listen to it on Spotify.
Until next time, have a great day! Remember you are a badass!
