At 37, it is VERY rare for me to hop on a TikTok trend, and want to apply it to my life wholeheartedly. Sometimes TikTok is just a place for Gen Z to “make fun” of Millennials… (Our skinny jeans, The side part, and Flared leggings… THEY ARE CALLED YOGA PANTS!! LOL) But they were really on to something with main character energy and romanticizing your life.
Over a year ago I wrote a blog post sharing 10 Simple Ways To Romanticize Your Life. Well, I am back in full force with 66 more ways you can start romanticizing your life. It has become this mixture of romanticizing the mundane, finding beauty everywhere you go, and exuding main character energy. This is something I absolutely embrace with my arms wide open.
Looking for magical moments in everyday life is something we can all do to move into a more mindful state of mind. It’s not about making these huge life-changing moves in your life but slowing down and noticing the smaller little fleeting moments of happiness. Showing gratitude, excitement, and contentment with what you have.

Romanticizing your life
As I get older I find myself wanting to live a simpler, non-techy lifestyle. This is funny because I have a blog and social media… So I kinda need technology. LOL Anyways, I digress… the point is even if you live in a techy world you can still slow down and notice the beauty around you. We often find ourselves taking advantage of that.
If you are anything like me and are on a personal growth journey… You know sometimes the journey can leave you by yourself. As a society, we have ALWAYS been taught to put love out into the world, and for so long no one talked about showing yourself love inwards. But now we have made it not so taboo to jump in feet first into self-care.
So now you made the conscious decision to spend more intentional time with yourself. . Looking inward. Undoing past trauma, learning about yourself and what you like. It becomes this never-ending adventure. So why not embrace in looking for the good in the world and within yourself?
I will forever own my main character energy and romanticize my life without shame. Will you?
Until Next Time, Have a Great Day! Remember you are a badass!
