One day something just clicked in my head. It WAS okay for me to want more. It WAS okay for me to want to better myself. Wanting those things did not mean that I was selfish. Though in many other people’s eyes it was me being selfish.

It was a huge wake-up call for me to realize how much I relied on other people’s opinions in order to feel “successful” in anything. After this experience, everything changed for me in many areas of my life — including my growth as a person and an entrepreneur. Are you in a similar situation?
