Okay, so let’s talk fashion. Honestly, most days you’ll find me rocking athleisure wear like it’s my uniform. I’m talking sports bras, leggings, tank tops – you name it. And hey, sometimes I’ll even lounge around in my PJs all day. Fashionista? Nope, not me. I’m more likely to end up on “What Not to Wear” than the cover of a fashion magazine. But hey, I’m ready for a change.
So, here’s the plan: I’m jazzing things up a bit. Got a new hairstyle and feeling a surge of confidence, so why not step up the wardrobe game too? I’m taking inspiration from some amazing ladies I follow on Pinterest and recreating Plus Size Pinterest Outfits. Starting simple, with 5 easy plus-size outfits for fall that I can totally recreate. It’s all about dipping my toes into the world of fashion without feeling like I’m in over my head. Wish me luck!
Now, I’m not expecting to become a style icon overnight. But hey, small steps, right? It’s exciting to try something new and push myself out of my comfort zone. Who knows, maybe I’ll surprise myself and discover a whole new side to my personal style. Time to unleash my inner fashionista, one Pinterest outfit at a time!
Exact Pieces for Plus Size Pinterest Outfits
I chose outfits that I have similar pieces in my closet to help recreate. You don’t have to go out and buy all new clothes if you don’t want to. They don’t have to be exact replicas You have to put your own spin on it. So I picked outfits that I know I have one or more pieces in my closet.
Pick a staple piece in your wardrobe that you know you have. It can be pieces you love but don’t know how to style. I used to do this a lot when I bought something new. I would search:
“Black flat outfits”
“Burgandy long sleeve outfits”
“forest green maxi dress outfits”
I would do this for LITERALLY EVERYTHING I owned… especially as I said new items I would buy. It was an easy way to seem a little bit more fashionable without having experience.
Please accept my apology for my shitty photography skills of clothes. I swear they look better in real life.
Originals VS replicas
This section is going to be what I call Originals VS Replicas, where I show you the original photo inspiration and my take on the plus-size Pinterest Outfits. I should add these to my capsule wardrobe for when I am traveling.
Chunky Sweater
So right now we begin this lovely outfit from The Kate Edit. What I love about this is that it looks so comfy. It also looks like you put some effort in when all you did was throw on a chunky sweater, a Skirt/Maxi dress a belt, and little booties.
My take would be a long black maxi dress which I have but is not shown in the photo because I am currently using it on a Halloween prop outside of my house. LOL, But I would pair it with this chunky sweater and cute little studded boots.
I don’t have a belt so I would do a little top knot with a hair tie and pinch a little bit of the maxi dress to keep it up. I don’t have a hat, but I don’t think I look good in hats. So I would just do a nice little half up half down moment with my Half-moon or infinity sign hairpins.
But also since my maxi is out of commission right now I could pair it with a short black skirt and pantyhose… Or my green maxi dress! Look at me becoming a fashionista.
Maxi Dress
Speaking of my green maxi dress. I know this picture is brown and blue, but I could do a green maxi dress with a black-and-white striped sweater moment. That may be cute. I could pair it with my little heels, booties, or my flats.
OMG with my new purse I just got. How spooky and Halloween would that be! I love when inspiration hits and I end up coming up with more Plus Size Pinterest Outfits.
Buffalo Print
I wish I could recreate this outfit to a T because I love it so much. Sadly I do not own a cardigan that color, but I have this orange and a navy blue sheer shirt that I think would look good with a blue cardigan to kinda tone it down.
Either way whatever I choose and I can wear this with my new vintage Clark’s healed booties. I found them at goodwill for $4.98. Originally $120, I know because they still have the original tag sticker on the inside and the sale price sticker. Whoever owned these shoes before never wore them. Such a pity, but their loss is my gain! Or I could pair them with my nicely worn-in pair of studded plat ankle boots.
I have so many ideas going through my head. You will just have to check my Instagram to see which outfit I went with. LOL

Graphic Tee
This was the outfit she was wearing while decorating her house for Halloween. I have already decorated my house, but I can find so many other places to wear this outfit. She looks gorgeous and I hope I do too!
Modern Winifred Sanderson
As most of you know I am going as Winifred Sanderson for Halloween this year. I am making the whole costume by hand. But this was my backup if things didn’t work out. I was going to go as a modern Winifred. It is nice to know in my closet I have a purple dress, a green cardigan, and witchy boots. I was fully prepared to wear it this Halloween night, but the costume is so far so good. I just finished sewing the dress. Took me 4 weeks to fully construct and sew.
Plus Size Pinterest Outfits
Did this inspire you to recreate some Pinterest outfits from your closet? I know after these 5 I might do it again. LOL, I have a closet full of clothes but I just don’t know how to wear them. This is a good starting point for some cute outfits during the spooky and fall seasons.
What was your favorite look? Me I can’t decide but I am ready for a night out on the town! Tonight we fly!
Until tomorrow, have a great day! Remember you are a badass!
Great outfits. I do love a chunky sweater and the Winifred Sanderson outfit. x
I am getting more into chunky sweaters. I am obsessed with that Winifred outfit!
Lovely! #Blogtober21
Thank you!
These are so cute! I love all of your outfits.
Thank you so much, Natalie!
I’ve never really worn maxi dresses in the winter. I might need to do that myself.
Neither have I, but I am gonna start. LOL
Love the maxi dress and how you switched it up.
Thank you, Cynthia!
I love all those styles. All looks fab.
Thank you, Risa!
The earthy tone and color combination suits the season well, and I think it will look perfect for many types of people, thanks for the suggestions! – Knycx Journeying
My whole color palette is fall colors. Navy blue, Mustard Yellow, Blush, Forest green, burnt orange. I love it all.
I definitely love EVERYTHING that I can pair with my boots. Most of what I wear are graphic shirts but haven’t attempted to wear a cardigan on top of it. Would definitely try this! Oh, and I want one that has Winifred Sanderson on it too!
I bought these really cute pair of studded ankle boots and I wear everything with them.
I love that Buffalo print outfit! They are all great though.
I might wear that outfit today or the Winifred outfit.
How ingenious that you were able to ‘copy’ those styles digging through your wardrobe. The most important thing is to embrace your shape and present it in a way that makes you feel comfortable. When I was younger, I used to buy pants that were too small to force myself to lose weight. Now I’m old and wiser – and much happier with myself 🙂
What I love most is how comfortable all these outfits are.
I am a huge fan of the chunky sweater outfits. They are a super comfortably go to outfit to wear during the cooler months.
It is getting a little bit cooler here in Florida. So I am ready to wear it out!
My daughter is a +size and she loves all these my dear, thanks so much for sharing! Another stylish idea she would wear soon!
Aww, that is so cool! Thank you for sharing with her.
You picked beautiful outfits. I love sweaters, that’s why first outfit is my favorite.
Aww, thank you, Unta!
