There is just something about fall that makes it my favorite season. Something changes inside of me and I become this basic bitch. My whole mentality changes when October and November roll around. The one thing that doesn’t change ever is me listening to music. I love a good seasonal playlist. I have a playlist for everything, but I didn’t have a fall playlist. (Weird right?)
If you know me you know I love music. I am ALWAYS listening to something new or old. I am a nostalgic person. So in the midst of one of my many, MANY binges of listening to music I finally created a Spotify fall playlist to showcase the songs that give me that fall vibe.
The weather has been cooling down slightly at night. Not as cool as we would like here in Florida, but there has been no humidity at night. I want to throw on one of my Pinterest-inspired outfits and just drive around looking at the Halloween decorations, go to a pumpkin patch, a corn maze, or recreate some of the scenes from Twilight in the woods.
I may or may not be serious about that last one.
Either way, the fall season just hits different It’s the calm before the Christmas storm. It is the chance to relax before you start running around like Nora from Christmas with the Kranks at Cordon’s Ranch Market looking for Mel’s Hickory Honey Cooked, Boneless, Skinless Ham with Natural Juices and Gelatin Added (um, barf!) or like Howard searching for a Turboman he promised his son Jamie for Christmas.
All of that sounds so stressful. So while it is calm let’s all soak in the vibes and listen to a fall playlist to get us in a cozy mood.

I haven’t heard of most of these musicians/bands, but I will definitely listen to your playlist. Fall is my least favorite season, but some good music will certainly get me through. By the way, do you have corn mazes in Florida? I had no idea corn even grew down there! #Blogtober21
We do have corn mazes. Hopefully this weekend we will be going to one!
